Laser Cutter part2

Progress has gone pretty fast on my new laser cutter. I have put the moving gantry on the frame, and put the frame on a wheeled cart that I made for it. Assembly has been fairly simple, I did run into a problem with the x-axis motor mount.

The nut inserts are sticking out because the wood piece has been routed too deeply. I removed the inserts and used nuts and bolts instead.

Here are some more pictures:I moved the cutter onto a new cart. The red horizontal piece is the gantry that moves forwards and backwards.

Closeup of the laser head. This piece moves back and forth to position in the x direction.
